Wishlist Wednesday

Audrey-Hepburn

I have always had a deep and abiding love for all things Audrey Hepburn. She was the reason why I fell in love with ballet flats, too many years ago to count and why I have always dreamed of owning a pair of Ferragamo’s one day!

Salvatore Ferragamo was one of the pioneers of fashion in Italy and his shoemaking genius saw him begin making shoes for hollywood stars for both on and off the set, in California from the 1920s. Besides making shoes for Audrey Hepburn he also designed shoes for Rita Hayworth, Sofia Loren, Ingrid Bergman, Ava Gardner, Katherine Hepburn, Marlene Dietrich, and Bette Davis and many more.

So for this Wishlist Wednesday I have a perfect pair of Ferragamo flats in a pale pink, which will never, ever go out of style!

Charlotte Olympia Flats

I love Charlotte Olympia flats especially the now famous Kitty Flat, but when I saw over the weekend the Charlotte’s Web flat, I fell in love all over again! I love how both of these shoes can dress up even the simplest of outfits, are so comfy to walk in and add a playfulness to your look.

I also love that all Charlotte Olympia styles include a polaroid of the shoe. You can then place the polaroid on the front of the shoe box to identify what style is within!

Good Objects

Stripey-Tees

Uruguayan artist Valeria Rienzi uses watercolor as medium to highlight fashion trends and her most coveted items. I love her stuff and how her illustrations just jump of the page and make you want to keep looking at them. Here details are so good and yet again shows how fashion adn creativity can go hand in hand! You can buy some of her items at a newly launched art gallery called Buddy Editions.

‘Tis the Season To Dress Festive!

Christmas-Wear-Festive

I love this time of year, whether it’s carols, christmas themed movies, decorating the house – I fully embrace all things Christmas!

I also love to add a little christmas pizzazz (that’s right I said pizzazz) to my wardrobe even if it’s just a red plaid scarf or a pom pom beanie (hey it’s getting cold over her in SF!)

Here as some of my Christmas wear finds that will get even the ‘grinchiest’ of people into the festive spirit!
