It’s freezing in New York right now, but fashion week must go on! Everyone is bundled up and the street style is whirlwind of coats, beanies, scarfs and more coats!

These Chloe flats have to be the most comfortable I’ve ever worn and considering I pretty much live in flats, that’s saying something! I can see now why they’ve become so insanely popular since they were first launched a few years ago, they’re just so comfy to wear and yet you still look put together when wearing them. They’re made from a buttery soft leather, come in lots of colors and the scalloped edges which is now synonymous with the brand add a subtle point of difference.
I just got my first pair of Adidas Gazelle sneakers, I don’t know why I haven’t ever had a pair before because they are divine. Super comfy and they look awesome with some many things. Not just something that can be worn with activewear, these babies look great with skinny or boyfriend jeans, tailored or slightly draped pants and would work great to dress down a cute summer dress or skirt.
Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us and it made me realise just how fast this year is already going by! This day is sometimes hard to navigate, I don’t know whether I want to go all out and have dinner, drinks and get all dolled up or go super low key, order take out and where my jammies! I usually like to go somewhere in the middle, not too over the top, but do something a little special and different from any other night. Whatever it is we do, I try to have us disconnect from our electronic devices for the night (except for music) so that we can talk and relax. I love candles, so we could order take out but eat by candle light with some wine – then listen to some music – simple yet allows you to connect, which to me is what Valentine’s day is all about.
I’ve put together my V day picks that you’d no doubt love to receive any time of the year!

I love eating out of a bowl, might sound like a weird thing to love, but I do, pretty much every single meal I have at home, I have in a bowl (not my husband though, he’s a plate man!). I don’t really know why I’m so enamored with eating out of a bowl, but maybe it’s partly because I love how everything mixes so well in a bowl and how it sort of feels almost comforting to out of one, either way I’m a ‘bowl girl’ for life! Plus I guess the things I love to eat are pretty conducive to bowl eating, like stir fries, soup, salads etc
So anyway when I saw theses ideas for salads and lunch bowls , I just had to share them. Easy to make, you can add/delete ingredients to your taste and they can be as healthy or as indulgent as you like! Some ideas to mix up your weekly lunch/dinner rotations!
While browsing through the Topshop website the other day (I call it internet window shopping) I fell in love with this blush dress. It’s the prefect feminine piece for the warmer months to come, but can be layered with a cardigan and tights for cooler nights as well. This dress could be so easily dressed up or down, with a cute pair of sandals and a clutch or booties and a crossbody. Plus the blush cloour could be paired with so many other colour combo’s that would make this dress so versatile and one that you could pull out for lots of occasions.

I have always had a deep and abiding love for all things Audrey Hepburn. She was the reason why I fell in love with ballet flats, too many years ago to count and why I have always dreamed of owning a pair of Ferragamo’s one day!
Salvatore Ferragamo was one of the pioneers of fashion in Italy and his shoemaking genius saw him begin making shoes for hollywood stars for both on and off the set, in California from the 1920s. Besides making shoes for Audrey Hepburn he also designed shoes for Rita Hayworth, Sofia Loren, Ingrid Bergman, Ava Gardner, Katherine Hepburn, Marlene Dietrich, and Bette Davis and many more.
So for this Wishlist Wednesday I have a perfect pair of Ferragamo flats in a pale pink, which will never, ever go out of style!
